Permanent make-up is a special, long-lasting `tattoo` on the face. It is applied to the upper layer of the skin, between the epidermis and dermis. Depending on the condition of the skin and how hard the skin works due to environmental influences, it gradually disappears. These are the main differences to a real tattoo. On the one hand, it is applied to the deeper lower layer of the skin and is not exposed to environmental influences in the same way as permanent make-up. In contrast to permanent make-up, the tattoo does not disappear without intervention.
